Most scoliosis care is split three ways: an orthopedist with limited hands-on training in conservative treatment, an orthotist who builds the brace, and a physical therapist who runs the exercises — with the patient shuttling between all three for every follow-up. Dr. Strauss examines, treats, and monitors every patient personally, from the first assessment through ongoing care.
Trained Beyond a Single Method
Many providers offer Schroth exercises alone. Dr. Strauss is certified in five specialized approaches. Schroth, SEAS, CLEAR, Yoga for Scoliosis, and the Pettibon Method and builds each treatment plan from whichever combination fits the patient’s curve pattern, not a single fixed protocol.
